Job Description
- Lead all Saturday market operations, including setup, breakdown, volunteers, ‘themed’ nutrition events, booth assignments, and the Information Tent.
- Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, customers, volunteers, Town staff, community partners, and the Board.
- Manage SNAP/EBT, Double Bucks, Senior Bucks, and Produce 2 Pantry programs and reporting.
- Recruit vendors and coordinate applications, inspections, and weekly communications.
- Manage newsletters, website updates, social media, musicians, and special events.
- Maintain market records, prepare Board reports, and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- passion for local agriculture
- friendly and engaging personality
- ability to work independently
- experience with bookkeeping/cash handling/common office software
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- reliable transportation
- availability Saturday mornings
Compensation:
- Minimum $18 per hour
