Diversified Small Farm Food Safety Training – Train-the-Trainer

Carolina Farm Stewardship Association is hosting a pilot Train-the-Trainer course for the new Diversified Farm FSMA Training Initiative curriculum.
This half-day course will cover options for curriculum delivery, review the curriculum materials, provide an opportunity to practice activities, and discuss the next steps for the management plan. Participants will be equipped to teach future farmer trainings and will be part of the first cohort of trainers for this new curriculum.
Train-the-trainer participants need to have attended a farmer training before the train-the-trainer. This could include the pilot training offered at NCA&T in July 2024 or the California training at the Center for Land-Based Learning in March 2025.
Future trainers can also attend the farmer training offered immediately before this training on July 22nd and 23rd (see registration details here).
